Open Door Policy

This political cartoon is on the Open Door Policy. The cartoonist message is that the island of the philippines was only one step that got them closer to the open door policy and creating a better relationship with China. I can tell this because the philipines is under Uncle Sam's foot and there are wanted signs for every thing Uncle Sam is carring. Another could see this cartoon as america over powering china. You could say this because America could dump all this equipment onto china and not help. This artist used exageration.  Uncle Sam did not really step on the philippines and carry supplies to china. The cartoonist also used labeling she labeled the countries and the tags of what he brought. This cartoon is pro-imperialism this cartoon is in no way making fun of or hating in imperialism and is against my opinion.
