Roosevelt Corallary

This political is on the topic of the topic of the Roosevelt Corollary and the Monroe Doctrine. The cartoon has Monroe Doctrine written in bold letters in the center of the cartoon that can be obviously seen unless you aare blind. The cartoonist seems to be against the doctrine. The cartoonist shows an american soldier making faces at the men on the otherside of the fence. Others can see it as the soldier is gaurding the people from getting in as a positive. the cartoonist uses symbolism becuse we see the police men as the european countries being kept out of the countries. We also can see labeling because the fence is labeled monroe doctrine. There is also exaggeration; there was no actual fence keeping the countries out. This cartoon is for my opinion on imperialism because it is anti-imperialism; you can tell because it is making fun of what was seriously going on.
